Turkbey ROM is a very highly-themed ROM that comes with custom icons, font, and a kernel that’s overclockable to 1.6Ghz. The battery life is pretty awesome on this ROM but what you will find exceptional over other custom ROMs is again its custom theme. It also comes with an app to change various things like the Lockscreen, toggles, and more.

I know a lot of you on AT&T Galaxy S2 are waiting for ICS ROM. Well, I am waiting eagerly everyday too but we are not going to stop reviewing ROMs for it just cause there’s no ICS yet.
For this week, we’ve got the ShoStock ROM for rooted Galaxy S2 SGH-i777 users, this ROM features 14 quick toggles, ICS transitions, tethering hack, and lots of enhancements for faster performance and better battery life.
While we wait for a fully-ported ICS ROM for the AT&T Galaxy S2 SGH-i777, you can enjoy some of ICS parts with the ICScreweD ROM. This ROM isn’t ICS by any means but it does come with several ICS parts that can help alleviate your pains in not having full ICS.
Give it a go and let me know what you think of this ROM.
Want a really fast ROM that runs Android 4.0? The GalnetMIUI is a ROM based off Android Ice Cream Sandwich running the MIUI.
Of course, the sad part is that although it is running ICS, there’s no ICS features to be found on the ROM. But no worries, ICS Android 4.0 does make the phone noticeably faster, there’s no holding back on this one.
The best ROM of the month for the AT&T Galaxy S2? I would have to say it’s Unnamed ROM, which comes with a ton of features over stock, super-fast, and gives you free wifi-tethering/USB tethering.
The Unnamed ROM comes with Ice Cream Sandwich wallpapers, another added plus.
Here’s Cognition X2 ROM for rooted AT&T Galaxy S2, it’s one of the first ROMs running on Android 2.3.5, not that I could tell much difference over the 2.3.4 but there are subtle improvements over stock and runs great with Zedomax OC kernel.
Try it out and let me know what YOU THINK.
I personally like what Samsung has done with their Samsung TouchWiz UI on the Galaxy S2 but if you don’t like it and you want to be as plain Android as possible, you can try the CyanogenMod 7.1 for the AT&T Galaxy S2.
This is a great ROM that strips pretty much everything and for some of you, this may be the perfect ROM.
