Resurrection Remix ICS ROM version 1.9.1 is out, now with a bunch more features like ExTweaks and Siyah kernel.  I think with the new version 1.9, it’s better than ever, you should find many great features, better performance and battery life.

You can now also get Tablet Mode easily by flashing the Tablet-Ui Mode.zip in CWM. Also you can re-flash Default-Ui Mode.zip to get it back into Phone mode.

If you haven’t tried the latest version, give it a go, this is the coolest ICS ROM for your Galaxy S2 GT-i9100.

For this week’s ROM of the week, we want to recommend you MIUI ICS ROM, which is available for all Galaxy S2 GT-i9100, AT&T Galaxy S2 SGH-i777, and T-Mobile Galaxy S2 SGH-T989.

MIUI (prounounced Me-U-I), is probably one of the best ROMs for theme-addicts. MIUI ICS ROM’s major features include free themes, ringtones, and wallpapers that can easily be customized to user’s liking. Other than that, MIUI really “overhauls” the Android UI to its own so you will find a fresh, new user interface you’ve never seen with any other ROMs.

Here’s an update on the best ICS ROM for Galaxy S2 i9100, Resurrection Remix ICS AOKP ROM has been upgraded to version 1.8.1

UPDATE: Please see updated version 1.9.1!!!

Some notable changes included, better Wifi, long-press back button to kill apps, BIOS style animation, better battery life, GPS lock improvements, faster bluetooth/data connection, and much more.

I think this version is probably the best I’ve used so far so give it a go and let me know what you think of the new version and mad props to XDA user Westcrip for developing this awesome ROM!

I’ve been guilty of using my AT&T Galaxy S2 SGH-i777 the most this week but the good news is that I think I’ve finally found a great ICS ROM that runs flawless, the AOKP ICS ROM.

I think this is probably the best ICS ROM you can use on your AT&T Galaxy S2 right now and comes with a ton of features. I won’t go into it but you can watch the video above to see all the cool features. Besides that, this ICS ROM runs super fast and great battery life so you can’t beat it.

For those of you who want to get rid of that yellow triangle on boot, you can do it using a USB jig or use the Triangle Away app by famous XDA developer ChainFire.

This should work on all versions of Galaxy S2 so if you need to get rid of it, there you go!

Looking to dual-boot two ROMs on your AT&T Galaxy S2 SGH-i777? Here’s a video tutorial showing you how to do that. Dual-booting two ROMs can have great benefits, that you can run a stock-like TouchWiz ROM and AOKP ICS ROM side-by-side. For people on the go (like myself) who need to test out several ROMs on the go, this feature really saves time and headache of backing up and restoring different ROMs.

You will need to run ICS ROMs though and install Siyah kernel for both ROMs you run.

The Sensation ICS ROM features 15 toggles, CRT animation, SIP support, removed camera click, phone with call recording, themed UI, and much more.

For AT&T Galaxy S2 SGH-i777, you can “hellraise” a GT-i9100 ROM to work on your AT&T Galaxy S2. Since both phones are nearly identical except modem and menu buttons, it makes it easy to interchange ROMs. You can look for hellraiser tools on XDA if you are interested in doing this yourself.

Resurrection ICS ROM is also now available for your AT&T Galaxy S2 via Hellraiser. This ICS ROM is fully functional just as the original i9100 version, the only bug is that the screen randomly turns on by itself in sleep mode.

Well, hellraising isn’t perfect but it can help you enjoy i9100 ROMs on your SGH-i777.

Here’s another solid ICS ROM for your Galaxy S2 i9100 that you can try if you want to stay more stock with TouchWiz with a ton of features, great performance and battery life over stock ICS.

Notable features include CF-Root Kernel (I swapped out with Siyah for dual-boot), Omega Files kitchen app (for further customization and you can also install Apex or Nova launcher), Swype/Samsung/Google Keyboard, and more.

Again, I personally don’t really dig TouchWiz all that much but there are some people who need that, like they want Samsung TouchWiz widgets and Kies support. Well, this is definitely that ROM with performance enhancements so give it a go and let me know how it goes for you!
