OSE ROM for T-Mobile Galaxy S2 SGH-T989! [App Circle Bar]

For this week’s T-Mobile Galaxy S2 SGH-T989 ROM of the Week, check out OSE ROM.

Based on latest Android 4.4.2, OSE ROM is an AOSP ROM that mixes-and-matches many features from other AOSP ROMs.  This version also is an unofficial version, which has some additional features on top of the official OSE ROM.

Overall, you can expect some excellent performance and battery life from the OSE ROM along with goodies like App Circle Bar, App Bar, Gesture Anywhere, Active Display, Lockscreen notifications, Halo Floating Notifications, OmniSwitch, Custom Animations, PIE Control, and lots more.

There’s way too many great AOSP ROMs out right now and OSE ROM differentiates itself by putting together set of unique features with my favorite being the App Circle Bar, which is like PIE Control but better.  If there’s one reason to try this custom ROM, it’s that feature so definitely give it a test drive over the week(end) and do let me know what you think!

Great Rom…the only problem I have is the back button stops working for me…

I see a few bugs, from most annoying to least:
    1. Does not connect as mass storage device anymore. My Stock ICS connected great to Mac and to Win (through Samsung Android Drivers). This ROM does not connect to either. Anyone has a fix?
    2. Data signal switches a lot between 4G (HSPA+) and 3G. I do have the latest radio version for JB+ – UVMC6.
    3. Video camera shows grainy picture on the LCD. Actual HD recording is good, but the view that shows up on the LCD is probably QVGA. The Stock ICS camera worked just fine.
    4. Minor stuff — Waze used to crash a lot at first, but it’s OK after uninstall/reinstall. It takes longer to acquire GPS signal though.

MP3 stream over Bluetooth works well though.
