For this week’s ROM of the week, check out the Jedi Knight ICS ROM by XDA user ptmr3 (you can follow him on Twitter here) for your T-Mobile Galaxy S2 SGH-T989. Some notable features include Note 2 Gallery app, lots of Galaxy S3 apps/features like pop-up video, wallpapers, widgets, Flash Player, 15-toggles and a whole lot more.

XDA user WestCrip does it again! One of the best ICS ROMs out when ICS was first available was without a doubt the Resurrection Remix ICS ROM (v.9.6 I think). Well starting with PRO version 1.2, the Resurrection Remix PRO ICS ROM comes with Android 4.0.4 and AOKP features like ROM Control (which I love using on my other phones with AOKP ROMs), allowing you to control every bit of your UI and even overclock to stable 1.6Ghz.
ICS is FINALLY HERE folks for T-Mobile Galaxy S2 users everywhere! This isn’t the “official” for T-Mobile but it’s a port from the official OTA ICS update on Skyrocket Galaxy S2, which is pretty much the same phone.
Everything works out of the box except auto-rotation bug (you can just turn it off). It’s a fully-functional ICS ROM so you should go flash this and start enjoying ICS!
Folks, the long wait is over for ICS on the Galaxy S2 GT-i9100, Samsung has released their “official” ICS update as of last night. For those of you who can’t wait, you can install a rooted version of the XXLPQ update so you don’t have to lose root. And this is our recommended way of updating to the official ICS update so if you don’t like it, you can always go back to another ROM like the Resurection Remix ICS ROM.
Check out this ICS ROM for AT&T Galaxy S2 SGH-i777! A CM9 port, this ICS ROM is pretty complete except for minor things like the back button and search button not working. Other quicks include the screen turning off and on randomly during its sleep state but if that doesn’t bother you, you can get “almost” full ICS experience on your AT&T Galaxy S2 with Face Unlock working too. Other than those small issues, everything works including data/wifi/bluetooth/camera.
For those of you looking for stable ICS ROM that’s rooted and with Face Unlock working, give this ICS ROM a go, which is the best all-around ICS ROM I’ve tried. (Yes, this is off the ICS Leak but better.)
The leaked version of ICS I tried couple days back didn’t have face unlock working and was very buggy but this ICS ROM fixes those issues. There’s a bit of lag at times but otherwise it’s a complete ICS ROM for your Galaxy S2 i9100 series.
Another ICS ROM you can try on your i9100 Galaxy S2 besides the leaked ICS ROM is the CM9 (Cyanogenmod 9) ROM. This one comes with Face Unlock and everything working except camcorder.
This is another great ICS ROM that gives you full ICS experience (without TouchWiz) you can try for now.
For those of you who can’t wait, here’s “leaked ICS ROM” you can try, which is pretty good with everything working for your Galaxy S2 i9100.
After trying this ROM, it seems like the Galaxy S2 is a really good candidate for ICS and everything runs smooth. It is a bit buggy and you will get force closes sometimes but other than that, everything works and smooth otherwise.
While we wait for a fully-ported ICS ROM for the AT&T Galaxy S2 SGH-i777, you can enjoy some of ICS parts with the ICScreweD ROM. This ROM isn’t ICS by any means but it does come with several ICS parts that can help alleviate your pains in not having full ICS.
Give it a go and let me know what you think of this ROM.
