Learn How to Root Galaxy S2 & Install Custom ROMs!
I am currently using this Go Launcher EX app on all of my phones including my Galaxy S2, this is great for people who install lots of apps as you can instantly uninstall any unwanted apps plus much more. Check it out and let me know what you think.
Want to overclock your rooted Galaxy S2 without installing a custom kernel?
There’s an app for that, Tegrak Overclock app, available for free on the Market.
To overclock using the Tegrak app, download app and open.
Hit “Load overclock module”.
Once you’ve made a backup of your current ROM, you will also want to learn how to backup and restore with Titanium Backup app as this method will allow you to quickly restore your apps when you install a new ROM on your Galaxy S2. (The ClockworkMod method backups up your WHOLE system including the ROM itself so you need another method to restore your apps such as this Titanium Backup app when installing new ROMs.)
