For this week’s T-Mobile Galaxy S2 SGH-T989 ROM of the week, check out latest Carbon ROM bundled with latest Android 4.3.

Carbon ROM Android 4.3 now comes with animation menu that allows you to fully control all of your transition animations.  This is one of my favorite features and Carbon Team has done a fantastic job of bringing customization so you can change every little transition animation to your liking.

Other than that, you will find same UI/system customization found in 4.2.2 version sorta like AOKP ROM Control Settings.

As for kernel, the Carbon ROM ships with a kernel with up to 1.836 overclocking support so you can run your phone super fast on bleeding edge of Android 4.3.

Overall, Carbon ROM is an excellent choice that gives you a ton of customization, performance, and great battery life.  If you haven’t tried latest Carbon ROM, definitely give it a go this week(end) and do let me know what you think!

Download Android 4.3 Gapps (for all, DO NOT USE Android 4.2 Gapps, they will FC!)

Download Flash Player APK (if you want flash player)

DownloadAndroid 4.3 PhotoSphere (if you want photosphere, but may force close so make a backup of your Gallery app using Titanium Backup app before installing!  )

To install, reboot into recovery, make backup ROM, wipe data/factory reset, install ROM, install Gapps and reboot.   (If for some reason you end up in a bootloop, reboot into recovery, goto Mounts & Storage for CWM, format /system, then re-install ROM.)
